Tad is a movement expert, receiving his graduate degree from Columbia University in Movement Sciences in 1981. Joanne is a registered physical therapist with over 35 years of experience with patient care and clinic management.
This program was designed to help people with a variety of neurological, endocrine, cardio-pulmonary and orthopedic disorders improve mobility, lifelong health, minimize secondary complications and remain independent in their homes and community. Life Designs ReAbility Center is the first and still only non-hospital affiliated center in America that offers these services to such a broad spectrum of people, like many of your neighbors, friends and co-workers, with complex diagnoses.

The research available on the efficacy of exercise physiology and physical therapy in regards to lifestyle disease (stroke, high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, orthopedic intolerances, etc) is unquestionable. Thousands of studies published in major public health, medical and allied medical journals suggest that man’s cardiovascular, endocrine, pulmonary, musculo-skeletal and central nervous system is capable dramatic improvement at any age and even when there is significant neurological impairment. The research shows that when given the proper intensity, frequency, duration and progression, the brain, through anatomical and synaptic reorganization, creates collateral pathways resulting in improvements in the function of multiple systems in the body.
